Early this summer Terratec released a
new product: the EWS88MT. It's a 10-channel Multitrack system for up to 24bit/96kHz
recording and playback. The hardware consists of a PCI card with a digital coaxial Out/In
and a breakout box with eight analogue stereo Inputs plus a Midi IN/OUT (DIN-connectors).
The card uses one IRQ and can be used in conjunction with your EWS64(X)XL and EWS64S if
you want. Terratec says you can use up to four EWS88MT's in your computer under one single
IRQ, because the cards use IRQ-sharing. Also these multiple cards can be mutually
synchronized.
Of course we owe it to ourselves to implement a special section for a new Terratec product
that will appeal to many existing EWS64 users. The only snag is, that we will
have to upgrade our computer first before we can install it...This section is under development, but it will soon be finished. Dependent
on the user-input, we can extend the number of sub-pages. So follow the progress! |
